There is so much health and fitness information and most people don’t know where to start. Trainers educate you on your terms. It’s like hiring a lawyer; you wouldn’t take on the legal system by yourself, so why do it with something as important as your health?
Personal Trainers make it their obligation and duty to get to know you and your body – your weaknesses and strengths, capabilities and inadequacies. They are your counselor, friend, stress reliever and motivator. They are there when you feel the lowest and stay with you as you grow or when you fall.
Fitness as a Way of Life
Many years in the field of fitness training has given me a lot of experience. I have been involved in sport for the past 25 years starting at a very early age and I still love every aspect of it. I have always been passionate about fitness and very interested in the relationship between a healthy body and a healthy mind.
I have had the privilege of training many different kinds of people working towards achieving a wide variety of goals. These range from getting fit for the start of the football season to rehabilitating an injury after major surgery. However, my area of expertise is obesity management with a proven track record in successfully helping trainees lose body fat, manage their weight in the long term, increase muscle tone and change their body shape.
My goal is to instill dedication and persistence through fun and educational fitness routines. I will give you the necessary tools to live a healthy lifestyle. I will assist you to understand how exercise and diet can greatly improve your overall quality of life. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscular gain, rehabilitation or sport specific, I can tailor your routine to meet your individual goals. Let me give you the tools to take your routine and make it a life-style change.

My name is Timea Csotonyi and I am 35 years old. I have recently joined the Nu Bodies team as a Certified Personal Trainer.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you mold your life and develop new positive behaviors and habits. I want to help you realize the importance of health and physical activity and how it can transform so many areas of your life as it did for me.
I have been involved in physical activity most of my life and continue to incorporate it daily. The gym and both interval and weight training have been my passion for the last 10 years. I have run two half marathons, one in Vancouver and one in Banff in 2010. I have run several road races in the last few years all benefiting various charities.
I am currently an accomplished figure competitor, having competed in 6 competitions, placing first 7 out of 8 times. I am presently training for the National level figure competition in September; this competition brings winning athletes from all over Canada to compete for a fitness placing. I am also a fitness model, affiliated with a local modeling agency and have appeared in several publications for my accomplishments.
Currently I am a registered nurse at PRHC and find that my career as a nurse compliments my career in Personal Training as they allow an integration of health and wellness, and optimal physiological functioning. I am b “CanFitPro” certified and have my level C health care provider CPR. The most valuable tools I have discovered are personal perseverance and an open mind. There is so much to learn and there are so many people whose individual experiences can enrich your own. Never stop asking questions and seeking the essence of perfection. I can only hope that my journey will give you the strength to overcome the fiercest obstacles in your life and realize that any mountain, regardless of its size can be overcome on small step at a time.
